GERD (ACID REFLUX) EXPERT FORUM
Name my problem

Name my problem

Okay so I came here for an opinion.   I had a bleeding ulcer 5 years ago and after that I noticed I've had a worsening chest pain.  I keep thinking it's my heart but my family doctors and cardiologist says that it's a mix of my digestive system and horrible anxiety.  I have a racing heart rate all the time though.  I mean I have these problems in spurts though where I can go months to a year feeling fine or just having one episode.  Recently though I've been getting super sharp lightning fast chest pains after I eat.  It's usually once and rarely more than that a day.  Is that associated with gerd or a digestive problem?
Any help would be wonderful.

Hi,
Chest pain after eating can occur in GERD.
What medications are you on?
