Nocturnal Reflux
In answer to a previous question on this forum, you commented to the effect that "...nighttime refllux had to be taken more seriously."  Could you please explain?  Why would nighttime reflux be more serious than other types of reflux.  This is somewhat of an intermittent problem for me.

Thanks.

Hi,
Noturnal reflux is more responsible for development of complications like esophagitis and stricture formation.
Night time rantac is sometimes presecribed to control nocturnal reflux.
