Pain and Pressure on Left Side

I have had a feeling of pressure below my left rib cage for some time now. It almost feels like there's a ball of air there, and sometimes I feel like I need to stretch in order to breath in. I also have back pain in my neck, mid back, and hip, all on the left side. I went to the doctor, and he suggested the pressure was from acid reflux. I do have a family history of reflux, but I've been taking Nexium for a week now, and I haven't noticed any significant improvement. Could the acid reflux really be causing my problems?

I've had a chest x-ray, an abdominal ultrasound, an MRI of my neck, and bloodwork done. All came back normal. I also had an intravaginal ultrasound that showed the presence of cysts on my ovaries.

You can have a gastric emptying scan done and see whether gastric emptying is normal.
To get relief from symptoms you can take prokinetics along with Nexium.
