Pain from GERD!

Can you feel pain from GERD on the upper left side of your stomach beneath your breast.  I have a mild case of GERD.  I have been having shortness of breath, chest pain, and now a sharp pain in my upper left stomach area.  I am new to this disease and although I have had a full heart work up, I still feel uneasy that it is only GERD. I had a CT scan of chest, 2 ekgs, echocardiogram, and a stress test.  They all came back excellent.  Can someone describe what it is like to have GERD pain?  I also had a colonoscopy and endoscopy.  Thanks
