Phlegm

I have the exact problem with phlegm in the morning, sometimes even close to chocking on it. On nexium. Can the acid filter up into sinusis and cause the nasel drip. No doctor seem to be any help.

Hi and welcome to the GERD forum.

Post nasal drip can cause gerd.......if u feel this is an issue, try a saline nasal spray and see how that works.

U will want to avoid eating at least 3 to 4 hours prior to going to bed...avoid dairy late in the day......and elevate the head of ur bed.
