Please Help!

I'm a 26 year old female. About 5 months ago I started having a pain near my larynx when swallowing only saliva. After a couple of months that went away but immediatly after I started having a gurgling noise/sensation coming up my esophagus mostly when laying down. At times I also feel like my food is traveling slow down my esophagus but when I take a drink of water it seems to speed it right up. Im having pretty contant pain on the right side of my sternum and sometimes when I move a certian way I feel like a little electric shock. lm also having pain between my spine and right shoulder blade that happens when Im reaching or turning a certian way.
My doctor has referd me to a P/T to see if that helps and Im set to get a chest xray on thursday to rule out heart or lungs.
Im on nexium 20 mg per day. Ive gotten a ct scan of neck that went to just below my breasts and all was normal. Ive had two blood test that both came back normal and an ultrasound of the neck.
Does anyone have any of these same symptoms or any insight on what this could be if my P/T doesn't work? This cant be JUST from reflux could it? Im completley freaking myself out, think THE WORST. This has completley consumed my life. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!!

There r blood work ups they can do...looking at antibodies can show if this may be an issue.
If u feel u may have an autoimmune thyroid issue u deff will want them to look at ur Free T 3's , Free T 4's , TPO antibody's and TSH...if only TSH is doen ur results could appear "normal".

Good Luck

Thank you so much for your response. I'm sorry, I did mean physical therapy. I'm not sure what type. She is assuming what I'm feeling in my chest is from my back where the ribs meet. She did a heat therapy with an ultrasound and a massage and just gave me stretches to do at home.
I can't feel any of those muscles by the stretches she told me but I'll continue to do them and HOPE they provide me some comfort.
How do they check for autoimmune disorders?

Hi...I am confused as to what u mean by P/T....do u mean Physical therapy?...if so, what type?

Have u been checked for a autoimmune disorder?....ask ur dr about looking at ur free T3 and free T4, TSH and TPO antibodies....if u have a thyroid issue that is autoimmune it will not show up if they only look at ur TSH...and this could affect ur swallowing.

Good luck
