i'm 17 and i was diagnosed with acid reflux when i was 13, but when i was tested again when i was 15 the acid reflux had disappeared. I did not use to get hiccups often when I had acid reflux, but now (for the past year or so) I have been getting hiccups on and off. sometime, i have hiccups 10-15 times a day, others not at all. I eat the same type of foods all the time, and I am allergic to shrimp, crab, and lobster (i avoid them always). the hiccups last from 5-20 minutes. i visited my stomach doctor a few months ago and he said that i dont have acid reflux, still. are my hiccups a symptom of something else?
