Stomach and Chest Pain

Two weeks ago, I suddenly woke up from my dream at 4am in the morning with a sharp chest pain and burning from inside.  This last a few hours.  The pain came back a week later at 2am.  I went to emergency.  EKG test turned out normal.  They gave Pepcid to take, but it didn't help.  The next day I felt something stucked in my throat and stomach bloating.  Two days later the thing in my throat always there which is very annoying.  Everytime I eat even a small meal, I felt it got stucked in my chest which caused a lot of pain there and always felt fullness.  When pressing my stomach, there was a pain right in the middle section.  I went to see my Doctor and got the blood test.  Last night I had to end up to go to emergency again due to the chest pain and food stucked in the throat and chest.  My blood test for HELICOBACTER PYLORI AB is 1.62 which is positive.  Today I felt pressure and food on my chest and something stuck in my throat the whole day.  I am so afraid now.  I schedule another appt with my primary physician the next two days.  My question is how severe it is if HELICOBACTER PYLORI AB is 1.62.  Does my sypmtom relate to cancer?  Should I get any scan or X-ray done?  Thanks.

Hi,
Your symptoms indicate you probably have peptic ulcer disease.
H.pylori is the most common cause of PUD.
You need to take antibiotics ( triple/quadrauple therapy) for 10-14 days.
An upper GI endoscopy may be done for confirmation of PUD.

Thank you very much for the reply.  It is very helpful.  My blood test also shows that I am infected by Hepatitis B as well.  Below is the most recent result from the blood test.

Bilirubin Total    1.4  (std 0.2-1.2).
PT                    11.6 (std 8.2-10.6 sec)
PT INR              1.2
Albumin             4.9 (std 4.7)
Bilirubin, Direct   normal
ALT                    35 (std <36)
H. pylori             1.62 (std .99)
All other tests show  "negative" or normal.

My question is how severe is my Hepatitis B at this moment based on this result.  How can I tell if it's "acute" or "chronic".

My next appointment with my Doctor is next week.  But because of my concern, I would like to know in advance.  Any comment will be helpful.  I appreciated your time and help.

Thanks,
Davis
