Stomach issues

Ok little background started a month and a half ago I woke up heart racing felt like I was going to pass out and diarrhea real bad. My dr for over a month couldn't figure out what was wrong. I had a colonoscopy and endo. Showed I had mild acid reflux and an irrated stomach. I went to my dr a couple days later and he stated my stool sample came back as chronic salmonella. My left side is hurting so bad like my spleen is enlarged. I have no gall bladder so I know it is not that. He put me on 1000mg of zithromax for day 1 and then 500mg for 6 days. Why am I still in pain and so tired. I pretty much don't feel like doing anything. Sometimes I am real short of breath also. I have had 2 EKG's and 2 x-rays of my chest. All came back normal. My pulse stays between 111 - 125 is that normal. Any input would sure be appreciated.

No it's not normal - it's too high which makes you tired. It may be that the endoscope irritated things and caused it but you should see a cardiologist or at least have and ECG as soon as you can. Usually medication will slow it down and fix you up but it's important to see if your heart is beating correctly and he ECG will show that. Contact your doctor and ask him to get it done. I only know this because I have similar problems and a lifelong friend also has  them (we're both old codgers) It aint killed us, so you'll be OK but get it done ASAP. Lets know how you get on.
