Ok, so I have had reflux and/or indigestion a lot through my life. However, I was diagnosed with anxiety disorder with panic attacks and I tend to catastrophize everything. For the past 2 days my stomach was hurting and then it felt like I was having a heart attack. It got me so worked up I was going through a panic attack, which made everything else that much worse. So, all day yesterday I couldn't eat anything. Finally I was feeling much better by 3:00 yesterday. So around 5:00 I finally ate supper. About 15 minutes later, BAM! I felt like I was having a heart attack again. I had a chicken sandwich and fries. I took a Zantac and within an hour I was fine again. Well, this morning I was feeling great. I went by and got me a biscuit and ate it. It's not as bad but it is there. Does this sound like I have acid reflux? Being someone of anxiety and catastrophizing everything, I still think "Am I having a heart attack?"
I am experiencing the same problem as well..aside from feeling of having a heart attack,i am also experiencing excessive burping..i was also diagnosed of anxiety disorder..i've had my ekg,2-d-écho,thyroid and blood tests and it all gave me a normal result. You think excessive burping us due to Gerd?
