Stomach making me anxious

Ok, so I have had reflux and/or indigestion a lot through my life. However, I was diagnosed with anxiety disorder with panic attacks and I tend to catastrophize everything. For the past 2 days my stomach was hurting and then it felt like I was having a heart attack. It got me so worked up I was going through a panic attack, which made everything else that much worse. So, all day yesterday I couldn't eat anything. Finally I was feeling much better by 3:00 yesterday. So around 5:00 I finally ate supper. About 15 minutes later, BAM! I felt like I was having a heart attack again. I had a chicken sandwich and fries. I took a Zantac and within an hour I was fine again. Well, this morning I was feeling great. I went by and got me a biscuit and ate it. It's not as bad but it is there. Does this sound like I have acid reflux? Being someone of anxiety and catastrophizing everything, I still think "Am I having a heart attack?"

Sorry, I forgot 2 more things....

After eating my heart rate goes up, sometimes even up to 120. Right now it is at 98 and I ate about an hour ago. Secondly, I get gas with just about everything I eat.

I am experiencing the same problem as well..aside from feeling of having a heart attack,i am also experiencing excessive burping..i was also diagnosed of anxiety disorder..i've had my ekg,2-d-├ęcho,thyroid and blood tests and it all gave me a normal result. You think excessive burping us due to Gerd?

Hi...it is possible for the vagus nerve to be affected when people get bloated as u mentioned. R u under the care of a GI dr'?

If not, do see one as ur condition may have changed over the yrs.

also it is best to have testing done to rule out nething with ur heart.

Please keep us posted with ur progress
