I've been experiencing constipation, gas, bloating, dizzy spells, pain from my bladder to my shoulderblades at times. I get a strange bubbly feeling on the right side under my ribs when I eat. If I eat cheese or something greasy I bloat up like I'm pregnant and have terrible gas that lasts hours. My Dr suspected gall stones and ran tests. The ultrasound showed my gallbladder, liver, spleen, pancrease all look good. All test of my blood, liver function, pancreas function and blood work for sprue came back normal.
My sister is diagnosed Celiac, but has never had a positive test for it. Even her endoscope came back normal (she still experiences bloating and pain occassionally). My brother at my age had a large tumor removed from his stomach. My dad at my age had a bleeding ulcer and had 1/2 of his stomach removed. My problem doesn't seem to be following any of them though (even though it's clear there are stomach issues in my family).
I can't help but think something is really wrong. My Dr is gone for the next 2 weeks and I don't know what to do. I'm avoiding dairy right now and keeping a food diary to see if I can figure things out.
I did start taking birth control pills 3 months ago. Not sure if that makes a difference.
I'm pretty miserable and will take any advice.
Oh - also I am healthy. I have low bp, no fevers, I am thin and exercise regularily and TRY to maintain a good diet (actually right now I just try to figure out what I can eat.
