Very strange feeling in throat

by char87, Nov 05, 2009 10:26AM
For the past two days I have noticed a very strange sensation in my throat.  It's hard to explain, but it feels like a filmy substance briefly envelopes my throat and it's a slightly suffocating feeling.  It only lasts for a few seconds and then goes away, but reoccurs every so often.

I also feel slightly dizzy and a bit overheated when this occurs, but this could also be in my imagination as I'm probably anxious about what's happening.

Please help with any thoughts as to what might be going on.  Could this possibly be acid reflux? I have no chest pains at all, just that feeling in my throat.

Hi....it is possible u have reflux...but the filmy substance could also be from post nasal drip...which can lead to reflux.

Please see ur dr and get checked....as this can get worse if not treated properly.

Good luck
