What Happends when NISSEN FUNDOPLICATION becomes undone?

by JESUS18, Nov 19, 2008 01:44PM
To anybody that has had their Nissen Fundoplication wrap undone can they answer me these questions,
1) Does the gas and bloating go away?

2) are you able to burp again?

3) Do you go back to the way you were before the surgery or worse?

I understand that after the surgery your anotomy has changed but to my knowledge it has not changed drastically.

Hi,
If it is properly undone, you may be able to burp again and the bloating may go away.
But there are other options like partial wrap which allows burping.
