What is difference between LPR and gerd

What are the treatments for LPR and is it different from GERD the treatments.

Hi,
LPR is a specific type of GERD.  GERD can be acidic or non-acidic, stay in the esophagus or rise up into the back of the throat.  LPR stands for laryngeal-pharyngeal reflux meaning that the reflux reaches the back of the throat and possibly the sinuses.
