What other tests can I do?

I have Gerd.  I went to a GI and was told that I have this.  I get it every so often and have been dealing with it for 6 years.  THe GI wants to do a endoscopy and won't give me any meds until I do this.  I asked about the barium swallow test and he wont do this.  I don't want to do an endoscopy at this time.  I'm scared to death and I have a feeling he will confirm I have GERD.  What doctors will do the barium tests?  I want to do this first at least it shows something.  It's better than not doing any testing.  My Gerd is doing much better now.  I think it's healing.

do the endoscopy.  They put you to sleep and when you wake up you wont even know they did it.


I have had 4 of them done.  Its really not a big deal.
