Whats wrong with me?

Back in the spring of this year, I was in class when my stomach began hurting. I felt like I was going to throw up and began scoping out a trash can. As the puking feeling increased, I passed out. When I woke up, the feeling was mostly gone and I just felt dizzy and confused. Since then, I have felt dizzy, light headed and my stomach hurts on a pretty constant basis. The only thing that makes me feel better is when I make myself burp. Its usually when Im at school or around meal times. My doctor thought it was heart related and so I was sent to a cardiologist who said I had syncope which is why I passed out. I haven't passed out since then but I still get the same feeling in my stomach. Usually by burping when I feel it I can get it to go away. When I wake up I always feel so sick. As soon as I touch my tongue with my tooth brush I feel like gagging.

I was in the hospital over a year ago with a stomach problem. I was throwing up and had a very loose stool for about a week and the stomach pain was unbearable. They said that the spicy chicken chunks from frickers probably had a reaction and a colonoscopy was given to confirm that it was nothing more. I don't know if this is related or not but I want to get my recent history out there just in case.

I feel like this could be mostly mental as I always felt fine until I passed out and now Im afraid of passing out. Perhaps I now have acid reflux coupled with anxiety that causes me to feel this way, or maybe its an ulcer or something more serious. Someone, please help me figure out whats going on.

Burping relieves the pressure from gas.  Pressure in the right spot can make one feel sick to the stomach.  The fact that burping makes you feel better isn't a sufficient help with a diagnosis.  An endoscope and checking for infections in the stomach can help rule out many things.  If they both come back negative, then it could be diet related and possibly Celiac's, although Celiac's will usually carry intestinal reactions too. Almost anything that's irritating to your stomach can have similar symptoms. Anxiety will add to the feelings of nausea or even cause nausea, and it's understandable that you'd be anxious given your history. You really need a good diagnosis.

I have not had an endoscope. Celiac's disease sounds like it could be a good possibility. I have some of the symptoms. I read it can cause anemia, which may explain my chest pain and passing out episodes. Would this explain why burping frequently makes me feel better?

This does not sound "mental" to me, although it will start to play with your mind.  You said you had a colonoscopy but did you have an endoscope.  Also, read up on Celiac's disease and see if that sounds like something familiar.  You need a really good gastroenterologist who is a good diagnostician.  Hang in there.

Some more info: I've been burping a lot lately. I feel like my stomach is always bloated. Going to the bathroom and burping make me feel a little better usually. 2 summers ago I saw a cardiologist after I experienced some pretty intense chest pain, I thought i was having a heart attack. They did tests, ekg, holter monitor, stress test, found nothing.

I really have no idea what it could be but i think it may be gas related or some type of acid reflux? I have no idea. Im getting blood work done friday to check my thyroid.

I just wish I knew what was wrong with me.
