Why I am feeling this way?

by Tabatha123, Mar 25, 2009 10:35PM
Hello, I need help. About a year ago I was experiencing heartburn, I was diagnose with H.pylori, I was given antibiotics, protonix, I was given protonix for 3 months only, as soon as I stopped taking the protonix, heartburn return. I had an egd done which was negative for H.pylori, now I am experiencing nausea after I eat, maybe 3 times a week, when I experience nausea it usually ruins the rest of my day, I am not taking anything for nausea. I have an appointment with my GI doctor next week, he also tested me for celiac disease, which he told me he will call me before my appointment if I had it, I have not received a call yet.  I guess my question is, is the nausea related to my GERD? did H.pylori cause my GERD? What could be the reason for my nausea?  Please Help, I am feeling depressed because of my symptoms :(

well if you tested negative for H.pylori then you probably dont have it, i would say you could have a hiatal hernia, or be under a lot of stress, you need to just relax and take it easy... i would try something called prilosec OTC 20 Mg omeprazole tablets, take one a day for two weeks and it should help you, it worked for me, you can get them at your local drug store for about 10 bucks, if all else fails try getting a medicinal marijuana evaluation they are about 125 to get for a year and marijuana can completely relax the proton pump in the stomach, i do a lot of evaluation on patients up here in nor cal... and let me tell you...you can get a medical card for about anything

look for alkaline diets on google, give it a try for a week eating 70% alkaline foods and 30% acid, i was suffering for extreme acid reflux, i changed my diet and stop using 40 gram nexium , i am out of nexium now and feel better than ever, no bloating, no reflux and my  throat feels like singing!!!  i hope it works for you!

I had H-Pylori for years. It went undiagnosed for about 5 year. I take an acid blocker daily. I hope you doctor told you that H-Pylori bores holes in your stomach lining. It can take years to heal and you may always have to take a blocker. I did not take it seriously and now I have gerd/reflux and a hiatal hernia. All of which suck. Take your meds even when you do not have the stomach fire.
