acid reflux or something else

I have been experiencing heart burn/pressure pain in the sternum area and the base of my throat with pain in the shoulder blades. I feel my heart skip beats when this happens. Had an endoscopy and was told all ifs fine. Had my heart checked and they said all was fine. Had a CT scan of abdomen and pelvis all fine. Labs all normal. Been to the ER twice and both times they told me it was acid reflux. My Gastro DR. says its not. Feeling like my diaphram and chest are being sat on. Don't know what it could possibly be.

wow, sounds like acid reflux...mayb u have too little acid??

ASk ur dr if that is a possibility......it can happen and the symptoms are similar.

Sounds alot like the problems I have been having for the past several months. (see my entry CERD???? CHEST PAIN??? for additional information.  I am sooooo frustrated at this point.  I work in a hospital and have decided all doctors are idiots who dont listen.  I go to see a GI nurse practitioner in a couple of weeks (could not get in to see the doc), maybe they can help.
