burning from GERD

have had severe burning in my throat and mouth for over a month. GI had me on 4 different meds in 2 months. Whar relief can I get for this burning?

I also  had the surgurgery 16 years ago and have been back on Nexium for about  a year.  I have had throat spasms and trouble with my throast closing up on several occasions.  Almost as if an anaphylaxis reaaction.  My stomach bloats and feels like someone dropped a big stone into  it.  No one warned about any of these types of problems years after surgery.  Only thing that was said was that heartburn may return.
