burning sensation in upper stomach

For last 2 week , i am having burning sensation in the upper part of my stomach(center).it starts around 2p.m. and get worse till i fall asleep. when i wake up in morning than i don't have any burning sensation.Please, suggest what should i do?

Hi,
It could indicate peptic ulcer disease.
An upper GI endoscopy may be done to confirm it.
PPI like prilosec would be helpfu.

I cosulted a doctor and he gave me pantop - HP . this is a course of 14 days. I'm in the middile of this course.

This sensation is not a daily phenomena, but whenever it comes , it comes after an hour of midday meal and than remain till i fall asleep.

this sensation is around the heart area.
