how to cure burping

Hi,
I am suffering from IBS and possibly GERD, I burp alot in the evenings and prodeuce a lot acid reflux in my throat for which I take Emaprozole, But even so talking things like citlopram  I still burp alot, it is very unsocial and was wondering if anyone else has this issue too and what they have tried to cure it?

Hi

I have a lot of burping, but no IBS. I have GERD and I burp alot, I know how difficult it is to go outside . I cannot even talk as I keep burping. I started DGL, I take before meals . I found a little bit of relief after I started using this. I still burp a lot , but better than 3 months before. May be you can try or ask your doctor about it.

Thanks for the post, I will certainly look into the DGL, have tried medical drugs like citilopram and domperidone, Wonder if you have tried these, I've previously tried herbal pills from a  reflexologist and a acupuncturist but had little effect back then, although I had different symptoms, used to get bloated alot.
Has anyone had a eophagus pressure test?

Is Deglycyrrhizinated Licorice DGL what you are using, I have read its for peptic ulcers, how is it helping you in your burping?
