nissen funoplication surgery nightmare

It sounds from this forum that nissen fundoplication surgery is a nightmare. I want it reversed. Any suggestions, similar experiences, did people go back to normal with it getting reversed ? did any of you get it reversed ?. I am 90 lbs, losing more, can't eat, drink, even water, dry heaves, more physical complications, gastroperesis now of stomach, 8-9 hospitalizations for esophagus attacks in 7 months. my doctors shafted me. regret this surgery so much. would rather die than live with pain all the time. I wish I could still have my reflux symptoms, take my acid reflux med and pop tums 4-6 x per day. losing work, can't do anything fun, can't survive. surgery wrecked my body and life. I could still die. this surgery absolutely ruined my body and life. very depressed now, in pain always and no fun in my life, i was a very active person, hiking, camping, walking my dog, etc. lynda375

You have a difficult condition, hopefully you have access to a teaching hospital where you can get expert 'second eyes' to look at your condition.  
Actually, the satisfaction rate of the Nissen Fundoplication surgery is quite high nationally.  I had it, and it was extremely successful, although the first couple of weeks were challenging.  Your symptoms of experiencing dry heaves are quite contrary to what is usually considered even possible, which makes me wonder what combination of things are responsible for your misery.  
I definitely would look to a teaching hospital in your area, or go to National hospitals like the Cleveland Clinic, Stanford University, etc.  Best wishes.
