i also get like a burning feeling in my stomach on and off too.
i have diarriah on and off too and occasional constipation, when the spasm and pain is severe i feel freezing cold and get incredibly shakey.
i have tried various painkillers and buscopan and peppermint capsules all offering no relief.

Hi and welcome to the GERD froum.

U may want to try ginger instead of peppermint..sometimes pepermint has the opposite effect on those of us with acid reflux. The morphine and other meds may add to ur acid reflux issues.

U may have motility issues.....ask ur drs about this...it would explain ur IBS.....

there r meds like amitiza (sp) that can help, but it is an rx and u need a dr .

Have u had MRI's, or a colonoscopy ...what testing have u had? Have ur Gall Bladder checked and ask then to look for a hernia.

U have an underlying  condition.....and I am sorry that we can not offer u much help....we r here for support.

Keep us postedon ur progress
