pregnancy after a nissan fundoplication?

HI, ive had gerd all my life, i was born with it actually and misdiagnosed until i was 12 when they found out that my l.e.s had actually been completely eaten away by the acid. so they did a nissan to rebuild a new valve from a piece of my stomach. it was a long long road to recovery as many of you know but i was one of the lucky ones whos heartburn was resolved...i didnt even have to take antacids anymore. unfortunatly i wasnt lucky in that  they think they may have hit the vegas nerve during surgery so ive had a ton of digestive problems including stomach peraylisis and other nerve type issues in the digestive tract. most problems have gotten better over the years thank god and i am now 20 and just have stomach problems here and there that are manageable although some of the gas pains can be pretty bad because of the nissan i have had issues with trapped air in my abdomen. now my issue is...im pregnant now, 8 weeks actually and im having a ton of gas pains and my stomach is a little swollen and im worried about the trapped air issue and weather this will be a problem with the baby. im also wondering  whats gonna happen to the nissan when all my insides get squished up when the baby grows...will it undo? will i have bigger issues?  what can i do about the gas and air? i cant burp easily

Hi,
The trapped air will not affect the baby.
Nothing will happen to the surgery done. It will not undo.
If  you already have symptoms of gas and bloating, it may get worsened. So try to avoid carbonated drinks and gas forming food items.Chew well while eating and avoid swallowing of air.
