racing heart and vomiting

My daughter is six years old and has been suffering form frequest vomiting for the last 3 years. She has had an upper GI done with normal results and her pediatrician has put her on prilosec for GERD. It seemed to help for a little while but mow her symtoms (symptoms) are back and getting worse. The biggest symtom that concernes me is her racing heart. You can visibly see her heart beating in her chest and her heart rate is elevated. She tells me that her heart "bleaping" comes before the nausea leading me to believe that it is the cause of the nausea. Other syptoms (symptoms) include weakness in her arms and legs (she lies on the floor like a dead fish and when promted to get up she falls back down) and she says her legs are huting her. I dont know if she is confusing weakness in her legs for pain or if it is true pain. Her pediatrician has not been as helpful as I would like insisting that it is simply GERD. Does anyone have any ideas as to what this may be or have had a simalar experience? Please help.
