reflux induced or not

routine followup 52 y/old scheduled colonoscopy.  During office visit mentioned to Gastro. that I had 2 episodes of heartburn while being treated with ACT for breast Ca.  Decided to do an endoscopy just to be safe.  Saw minimal narrowing so dialated.  Immediately the following day started with burping and hiccuping.  Never had an issue to speak of prior to dilatation.  Prevacid does not give total relief.  Burping 30 times a day.  Small burps.  Could the dilatation have weakened the wall of the esophagus?  One year later, still same symptoms.  What could this be and could it be a result of the endoscopy.  2 nuc med scans and a barium swallow have been ordered. Radioactive sandwich and liquid scans to monitor flow into the stomach .
