throat issues

July 10th of this year after eating pizza i felt a slight lump in my throat. this sensation lasted for a while and then had some feeling of swelling in my throat. no other symptoms . no coughing, no bleeding, no fevers...NOTHING! this lasted 4 weeks (onand off) until i went to the ENT and he did a rhinoscopeno fun at all) and said my throat was swollen and said its reflux. he put me on Omeprozole (sp) 40mg 1 time a day. it seemed to work a little bit. i avoid all the trigger foods...ie, coffee, chocolate, onions, friend foods...i dont eat 3 hrs before bed and i sleep propped up. I had a pumpkin latte (like a moron) and OH MY GOD my throat swelled up like crazy.....i went back to the ENT who upon doing another rhicoscope said my nose was imflammed and that i had an infectionin my throat. he gave me 7 days of Avelox and said to keep taking the Omeprozole. I went for blood work today because he wants to rule out gsastro bleeding. i have an appt w a gastro guy tomorrow.The ENT is sending me for a CT of the neck as well...I had an ultrasound back in June and there was nothing wrong. I had blood workup in June and all counts were fine. NO Thyroid issues at all. I am 36yr F in pretty good shape....(maybe need to lose 30 lbs) but overall i eat healthy and exercise everyday... ugh!
Is this reflux???? orcould it be a spasm in the esophagus.  I have no heartburn at all. sometimes i taste a funny taste in my mouth but other than that nothing.

thanks for the welcome.i went to the gastro guy today and he agrees with the ENT that itis REFLUX!! ugh! he is  keeping me on  the Omeprozole and wants to see me in january.he said that it can take 3-4 months for this medication to work!!!!!
