throat tightning up sometimes when i eat??

sometimes it feels like my throat is tightning up when i swallow food or swig on a soda,,it realy is weard,,,it takes a few seconds, and it goes away, and i can drink and eat normaly till done.
it does not do it all the time, but when it does it realy feels weard.
also when i drink soda, that first gulp down usualy makes me do this kinda hiccup/burp thing that almost stops it from going down,,then im alright and can swallow fine!!
what would cause this?

I did do some reading due to another poster here and found info that may be helpful in answering ur post as well.

IMHO u need to see a dr and have testing....sometimes longterm effects of gerd and autoimmune causes can in effect have this symptom of not being able to swallow.

If ur esophagus may not be moving the food or saliva down like it should.

See ur dr for testing to see what ur issues r-please post an update of ur progress.
