too much pain

as if having gastritis, gerd, hitaus hernia and ibs wasnt enough.  Tonite i ended up in a&e in agony as ive been having really bad headaches, the doctor gave me anti-flammatory and sickness injections on ma butt (ouch) and that was only having a fight with him as he wanted to give me anti-flammatory tablets and there was no way i was swallowing them with my tummy already aching and in a state.  When i asked the doctor if the pain ive been getting in my left thigh going into your groin was caused by all my other ailments he just by passed the question, as i had no energy left for his bad attitude i didnt ask again.  Does joint pain come from stomach problems?? Is my headaches caused by my symptoms and the chronic pain am in? Feel like am totally falling to bits.

Hi Roxy...did u look at the lists of foods to avoid and foods that r safe here in the Health pages?...there r also tips on lifestyle modifications u can do to help.

As Gustav mentioned smaller  frequent meals will help, elevate the head of ur bed, avoid eating 3 to 4 hrs prior to lying down...and avoid foods like dairy and chocolate that will delay or slow the LES in closing and allowing acids up where u do not want them.

http://www.medhelp.org/health_pages/list?cid=236

Keep a journal to find the foods that trigger ur flare ups as some food on the safe list may not be safe for u and food on the avoid list may be ok....

It can cause joint pain, even heart palpitations if the Vagus nerve is affected. Headaches, yes, dizzyness, extreme pain. I have the same thing you have and i'm chair bound for sleep. Eat small frequent meals, sounds like your GERD is affecting your gastritis and causing it to get worse. Find non-acidic foods and try to eat bland would be my suggestion to help with the pain over a few weeks.
