Hi...I would strongly suggest u ask ur gyn dr or a pharmacist as to what is safe to take.
Since we r a support forum we can not suggest which meds to take or which are safe.
There are meds that are not PPI's and u may want to ask ur dr about HI's.
Keep us posted on what u find out.

Thanks. I know i should not stress about it but this hurting every day can drive ya crazy lol
U r welcome...I will not lie to u...my gerd issues have been like a roller coaster ride.....I was able to go a few yrs with no meds and felt pretty good.....but I have had bad flares too.
It seems that u r doing everything u can...I am sure once u relax after ur baby is born, ur symptoms will reduce as well.
Please keep us posted on the progress with ur GERD and ur pregnancy.

Hi and welcome to the GERD forum.
I too have had gerd/acid reflux for yrs and when I was pregnant I was miserable.
Eating several small meals during the day and keeping a dry crackers on hand helped me alot.
Keeping ur bed elevated and watching ur diet will help, but ur body is going thru a massive change....
I found if I ate an apple after dinner it helped me....not sure if it will help u, but u must try diff things until u find what will.
Chewing gum also can help with the excess acid.( try something surgar free and no peppermint)
Please keep us posted on ur progress and Congratulations on the pending birth!! : )
