70 yr old female post surgery galbladder removal/nausea/vomiting everyday

Hi.  I am in desperate need of advise in reference to my 70 yr old mother after galbladder surgery.  It has been 2 months and she is nauseated everyday.  She also vomits at least once a week.  She explains that just looking at food or smell of food makes her sick.  She mostly vomits in the evenings around 8 to 9pm.  The doc has her on nausea meds, but they are not working.  The doctors cannot advise what is wrong.  She had a HIDA scan and everything was ok.  Any ideas/opinions are welcome.  Don't know what to do to stop her suffering.  Thanks in advance.
