Adenomyomatosis of Gall Bladder.

Recently I had a severe pain in my abdoment, afetr that I had gone for Ultra Sonography of whole abdomen. The report shows that " GB is normal in size,Wall is thickened (3.7 mm) with calcification with comet tail shadow " and suggested for early adenomyomatosis. Pl. suggest me as to what to do. Will medicines cure this disease or shall I need to undergo surgery.Different Doctores in my locality give me different suggestions. Please give me your expert suggestion as early as possible.

Here is an interesting break down of this issue:

http://radiographics.rsna.org/content/26/3/941.full

They state:

"Adenomyomatosis is most often an incidental finding, has no intrinsic malignant potential, and usually requires no specific treatment."

How is the pain though, definitely if you are undergoing severe level of pain report this to the doctor you feel most comfortable with or go to the ER.
