DISLODGING OF GALLBLADDER STONE

Can a severe jab to the stomach/back/side dislodge a gall stone into the cystic and/or bile duct and cosequently get stuck?

The normal action of contraction of the gallbladder moves concentrated bile into the cystic duct each time the body's hormones 'signal' the biliary system to provide bile flow. If you have a mobile gallstone, just the act of eating food that stimulates hormone secretion can move that stone into the cystic duct and allow it to move through that structure into the common bile duct.
