Gallbladder Removal

I have had severe pain for about 10 weeks and about 5 weeks ago I finally convinced my doctor that it was not just round ligament pain (I'm currently 21 weeks 5 days pregnant with my 3rd baby) after my fourth trip to the ER for pain and they kept giving me morphine and running bloodwork and sending me home, she sent me for a ultrasound to check my organs and found gallstones and sludge in my gallbladder they told me to be careful what I ate and just take the hydrocodone when I had a severe attack. I got very sick and vomited nonstop for 5 days and they called me and said it was time to remove my gallbladder and I had to wait 3 weeks for the surgeons office to open back up for an appointment with her, now my appointment is in 2 days and I'm getting very nervous about it I still have pain and vomiting (I'm actually down 3lbs from when I got pregnant) but I haven't had any severe attacks in 2 weeks, has anyone had a removal while pregnant? Do you think the removal is necessary? I've read that once the attacks start you will have more and if they have to remove it the 2nd trimester is the best time and if they do it in the 3rd there is a very high risk to my little girl. I guess I'm just second guessing what is going to be best for my baby and me.
