Gallbladder codiene

I had my gallbladder removed 20 years and have been unable to take anything containing codeine since then ..which I believe is caused by Sphinster of Oddi Dysfunction , which seems to be  quite common after gallbladder surgery..My question is ...I am having a hysterectomy in a couple of weeks and worried about what I can use for pain relief directly after surgery  , as I have read morphine causes the same reaction .
