Gallbladder pain?

I have been having some pain on and off in the gallbladder area for several months now. It is typically after eating, maybe once every week or two, but a little massage to the area and a heating pad makes it go away. However, it's been a little more persistent for the last week or so, including constipation.

On Monday I started an elimination diet (for food allergies that showed up on a blood panel) as well as taking a few supplements. One of those was fish oil and within 15 minutes I could feel it acting up. I had the pain just below my ribs, nausea, cold sweats, etc. But then it passed, except for the nausea. Tuesday morning I woke up to nausea, chills, gallbladder pain, shoulder pain, bitter taste in my mouth and still felt full form dinner. After some time in the bathroom (with formed but soft stool), I was able to lay back down, but the nausea has not subsided. Wednesday I woke up with all the same symptoms, except heart attack esque chest pain on the right side was also added in there.

It is now Thursday morning and no relief. I have barely eaten anything because of fear of making the nausea thing worse. Even large drinks of water irritate it.

Thoughts?

Sorry, hit post too soon: my symptoms have worsened, re: this attack, with a new inclusion of headache and worsening chest pain, so I am going to call my GI's office when they open in the morning to see if one of the partners has an earlier appointment. With regards to the thyroid, I am looking for an endocrinologist and have been working with a nutitionist to uncover and eliminate trigger foods that are showing up in an antibody test.

I am no longer seeing a GP for these (thyroid) issues. I try to avoid her as much as possible and see specialists, given the lack of attention to detail, as you mentioned. I do have a GI doctor I see for my LPR/digestion issues - unfortunately in this case, he is a very good and popular doctor so the next appointment I could get is not until Sept 17.

I noticed you've had a few discussion about thyroid issues as well but you're seeing a GP? The symptoms you list here do seem to be GI/gallbladder related and in need of discussion with your doctor. But you might want to have a good endocrine doctor look things over. A specialist is sometimes needed for the more complicated systemic stuff, GP's just aren't deep enough wrt the details.
