I just had an ERCP Friday and experiencing pain

I had my gallbladder out last Friday.  They had to go back in this past Friday with an ERCP to clean out sludge, etc.  They put in a stent.  I'm experiencing quite a bit of pain.  Can't tell if it is just gas or something more that I should be concerned about.  MY abdomen isn't hard or distended, but I get these awful pains that feel like someone is grabbing and twisting my insides.  Anyone else have any of these issues?  Pain pills help, but I need to know if this is normal.  Is it just gas pains??

It may be the common bile duct reacting to the ERCP and the presence of the stent. For some it can be quite uncomfortable. The best thing to do is to call your doc and discuss the issue.

Yes call for sure, as pancreatitis is also quite common after an ERCP.  Better to be safe.
