More pain after the HIDA scan

Hi all,

I started having pain in my right side under my rib cage some time ago.  I recently had an ultrasound and it revealed that I had no stones but did have sludge.  My doctor ordered the HIDA scan to measure the functionality of my gallbladder.  I had that done yesterday morning.  I have had more pain since the test.  Has anyone else experienced that?

I know what you mean about not wanting to have it removed.  I feel the same way.  I am going to try a liver flush real soon.

Not yet.  I am so chicken to do it.
I am sick right now.  I don't really want to lose my gallbladder but I suffer with intense chest pains and back pain.   We will see.  talking to GP tomorrow as she had her gallbladder taken out about 4 years ago.
I already met with surgeon.  Just trying to see if there is another way.

It's been more than a day now and I still have the pain and soreness of my rib cage.  Did you have to have surgery?

I had pain after they administered the injection. about 10 minutes after.  I hurt after the HIDA scan for a full day.  My side was extremely sore.
My surgeon said that was pretty positive along with him touching the area and me jumping from that touch to show that I had some inflammation.
