Post surgery diet

I had my gallbladder out on Friday. They were able to do it lapriscopically. I am wondering what in the world I am allowed to eat! I want to go back to eating normal food as I have been on a low fat diet so long, but I need to know when it's safe. I have a phobia of vomiting and do not want to have that as a side effect of pushing too much too soon. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can tell me better than I can tell you. Following a lap cholenthe stomach doesn't empty quite right for a week or two but this affects patients differently. Some celebrate with pizza while others are on soups for ten days. My advice is to advance gradually and add new foods each day to access your tolerance.
