gallbladder polyp and stones

I am 36 years old man ,i have a polyp near the gallbladder neck and 2 stones 7.5 mm, 4 mm ,
about a year ago i found the stones accidently ( they were 7 mm, 5 mm)  ! with no polyp.
i feel no pain and i live my life normaly. maybe some times (ones every 3 weeks) i get sick after a fatty meal.
thats it.  so my doctor say its best to remove the gallbladder as soon as possible .
is that right?    , i feel i have no problem .

Hello and hope you are doing well.

The stones and the polyp are unlikely to resolve on their own and hence will need surgical therapy. The stones may cause gall bladder inflammation and pain. Besides long term irritation by gall stones can also predispose to infections and gall bladder cancer formation.
