gallbladder surgery and ibs

i had my gallbladder emoved 5 yrs ago and have never been able to regulate my bowels  i have tied fiber antispasmotics   everything i can think of      i now have losse flakey like stools and am afraid to go anywhere  i heard of questran   would this be helpful
