Level of Gamma glutamyl transferase

I am 50 years old, happily married with two daughters one 23 and another 24.
I feel in very good helath and have a rewarding loving job, although sometimes most demanding and stressful, but happily on my job.
Lateley I have undergone some blood, urine and stress tests, which all resulted very positive but to the level of gamma glutamyl transferse which resulted at 143 u/l, and my doctor told me to have other blood test within six months.
I am very wary of what I eat and exercise myself to four times 20/25 minute fast walk.
I also take some garlic tablets to help me reduce my cholesterol level which until recently was almost 7.5 (total) but now was reduced to 5.5 with a new diet and exercise.
I drink coffee once a day, but have about 5 camomile tea daily.
I am not a drinker but when I socialize can carry on conversation with some drinks normally whiskey.
I am very worried about the level of the gamma glutamyl, so please can you help in telling me whether I should be worrying or to what other actions shall I resort ?
Thanking you,
N.B Other results were: Total bilirubin 14.3,alkaline phosphatase 92,alanine aminotransferase 23, total cholesterol 5.55,urea 5.1, creatinine 95,plasma glucose 4.69,
