The AST is only minimally elevated, and even normal in some labs.  Continued monitoring should be done to ensure it doesn't continue to rise.  

I would discuss an abdominal ultrasound as the first step to evaluate the liver.

Lipitor and alcohol are two common culprits of rising liver enzymes.  They should be looked at if the levels continue to rise.
