Abdominal pain

Posted By Billy Hulse on June 25, 1998 at 23:33:48:

I have experienced a pain in my lower left abdomen for approximately
2 years.  I have had both upper and lower scopes, IVP,CAT scan, MRI, small
bowel follow through and numerous blood test.  All have come up
negative.  The pain is aggravated by exercise such as jogging and weightlifting.
It is also extemely sensitive to alcohol.  The main problem is that the pain in my
lower abdomen is not excruciating but it triggers light headedness and head aches to
the point of nearly blacking out.  I have even gone to the Mayo clinic which was a complete
waist of my time and money.  They told me my problem was not life threatening and to go home.
They sent me a letter of their diagnosis which was an exact duplicate of my primary physicians
letter he sent with my medical records.  Abdominal pain of unknown etilolgy.  That does'nt cut it
My life has become miserable.  I cant do any of the things I enjoy to do.  I am only 34 years old
and I know there has to be something that has been over looked.
