Barret Dysplasia. Pathologist Diagnosis

I have recently been diagnosed with the following:

Esophagus: Mucosa of type gastric compatible with barret esophagus.  Dysplasia of type moderate.

QUESTION: The pathology report does not mention "specialized intestinal metaplasia", only that he has seen Gastric Mucosa, compatible with barret esophagus".

I have read in various documents on the net that "Only specialized intestinal metaplasia of the esophagus has been shown to be pre-malignant and warrant periodic endoscopic cancer surveillance"

However, in the pathology report, it mentions a moderate dysplasia.  IS IT POSIBLE TO HAVE DYSPLASIA WITH GASTRIC MUCOSA BUT NO SPECIALIZED INTESTINAL METAPLASIA"

I am very confused and worried about this diagnose.  After reading up on this, I went back to the doctor and asked to define moderate dysplasia and the length of the barret.  He returned saying that it was:

Short Segment Barret
Low grade Dysplasia

I asked if in fact this was BARRETT since it did not mention SPECIALIZED INTESTINAL METAPLASIA.  He hesitated and told me it was BARRETT.

The QUSTIONS I HAVE ARE MANY, HOWEVER, DOES ANYBODY KNOW IF DYSPOLASIS IS ONLY RELATED TO SPECIALIZED INTESTINAL METAPLASIA or can you have DYSPLASIA WITH CARIA AND FUNDIC MUCOSA

Thanks for your help
