This question seems to be cut off.

However, if heartburn and other upper GI symptoms are present, you can consider an upper GI series or upper endoscopy to further evaluate for various causes of dyspepsia.  This can include GERD, an ulcer or inflammation of the upper digestive tract.

An abdominal ultrasound or 24-hr pH study can be considered if the symptoms continue.

These options can be discussed with your personal physician.

Followup with your personal physician is essential.

I'm 29 years old male, and except for the following conditions I feel healthy.

2 months ago I visited the ER, thinking that I was having a heart attack (specifically I was breathless and my lower esophagus -by the sphincter- was really acting, jumping up and down every 10 or 15 seconds), but my blood tests and X rays were all normal, the doctor suspected Esophagitis and prescribed Protonix 40 ml.

It only helped somewhat for a short period of time, but I started getting these bad heartburns that are so painful and I was still having the shortness of breath, especially after a meal or drink.
I avoid all carbonated drinks and acidic foods, I also elevated my bed but I still get the heartburn.

2 weeks ago I visited this GI doctor who did more blood tests and an endoscopy and it all turned normal. Tomorrow I have an ultra sound test.

Last night I only slept about 4 hours, because the acid reflux or heartburn was so painful and my stomach was boiling. I would go to bed for an hour or so and then wake up. Of course when I stand up things get a little better, but I was so tired and wanted to be in bed... I just couldn

Hi, sorry to hear you are in so much pain. I am wondering whether the "boiling heartburn" you feel may be associated with gallbladder disease - particularly where gallstones are involved and a small one has become trapped in the bile duct blocking it and causing excessive bile to leak into the stomach - the symptoms of that bubbling, burning pain from what is called biliary colic can sometimes be very similar. Has your doctor evaluated your gallbladder statues?
