Cant figure it out....detailed but pls help

For the past 3 months I have had the same symptoms and still cant pinpoint the cause(s).

Primary symptoms (may or not be related but all chronic now):

Tightness in throat (increases with coffee, cold/hot drinks, or while twisting my next/back to for a period of time).

Back pain radiating from lower in the morning to upper by the end of the day

Stomach pain like a stabbing around the belly button area (line on top and on sides horizontally).

Had a lot of gas but its decreased after a cleanisg preparation for a colonoscopy, so far....it was yesterday.

ENT noticed redness on the throat and sent me to the GI doctor.  GI has done an upper endoscopy and colonoscopy and all negative including a negative H Pylori test.  All he could see is irritation on the esophageal, no damage though.

Conclusion thus far....atypical GERD.  No heartburn (maybe once every two months or so), frothy bubbly feeling on bottom throat when swallowing saliva.

Next doint a Scan? from the gallbladder to the pelvic region but GI is doubtfull he will find anything.

Have taken prilosec for 1 month (stopped now) and did not help.  Tried having a drink (social drinker) about 2 wks ago and burned but with no ulcers found who knows?

What else?  Dont want to drive anyone crazy anymore (wife) nor want to seem like a hypocondriac but I know something is different.  Help?

The upper endoscopy is a pretty comprehensive test of the upper GI tract, and would make an ulcer or inflammation of the upper digestive tract less likely.

You can still consider GERD and test with a 24-hr pH study.

An ultrasound or HIDA scan (with CCK stimulation) can evaluate the gallbladder a source of the discomfort.

More specialized tests like an esophageal motility study or gastric emptying scan can be considered to evaluate for motility disorders or gastroparesis respectively.

These options can be discussed with your personal physician.

Followup with your personal physician is essential.
