Carbohydrates and Gilberts Syndrome

Carbohydrates and Gilberts Syndrome

I have always had a very good cholestral level.  My hdl
was usually a 70.  My total was never over 170.  Then I found
out I have Gilberts Syndrome.  No one told me other than do
not drink, about diet.  I went on this Atkins diet, and now
my Bilirubin is flagged again at 1.9 and my hdl is 82 and my
total cholestral is now 227.  I don't think people with Gilberts
Syndrome can eat a very low cholestral diet.  I have lost 15
pounds but at 155 pounds and 5'5 and a half inches tall I still
need to lose about fifteen to twenty pounds.  I walk at 4.0
speed 2miles a day on my tread mill.  I need help!

If you are interested in losing weight with out a low cholesteral diet--lift weights along with aerobic exercise. you will see a big difference quickly if you do it constantly.
