Complications from Colonoscopy

Complications from Colonoscopy

About a month ago I underwent a colonoscopy and had several
polyps removed.  I have been in pain since that day with a
feeling of swelling, stiffness, stretching, pinching, pulling
type feeling on my left side.  There has been no bleeding, no
fever over 100.  It is worse by nighttime, hard to walk at
times and hard to turn, sit etc. because it feels rigid and
swollen, sometimes with pains.  Doc put me on two bottles of Cipro for possible infection, but did not help.  Now says I
must have some other problem.  I did not hurt before the
colonoscopy on my left side. Cancer runs in my family, problems with constipation, decided to have colonoscopy, no hurting before procedure.  Feel I have made a horrible decision to have colonoscopy.  Hurts and is affecting my mobility.  Changed
doctors, due to have a C-Scan of colon/abdominals in December.
I felt nothing and remember nothing of the procedure. The
polyps were not cancerous-hyperplastic.  If this sounds familiar
to anyone, I'd like your opinion.

Well it sounds like it was definitely NOT a mistake to have the colonoscopy, since you had polyps that needed removing. Why not just have another colonoscopy so they can check the areas they worked on?
