Creatinine levels

Creatinine levels

I have Crohn's - been on steroids since 1970 but last 7 years on methotrexate, currently 12.5 mg weekly by injection and am doing well. Saw my gastro last week for 3 monthly check up and mentioned that I have severe muscular problems in walking, and particularly bending down - can't get up without help. Recent bone scan ordered by bc surgeon (I had breast cancer in 2003 and had FEC chemo) showed osteroarthritis in both hips, hands and feet. I have regular monthly blood tests with my PCP's nurse (WBC, renal, liver and bone) but gastro has now ordered three extra tests. Difficult to read his writing but one is, I think,  haematocrit and I can't decipher the other two; second looks something like ?LIT, last one being Cardom...Cortisol. He has also ordered a DEXA bone test as I take Arimidex for breast cancer.

Obviously these tests have nothing to do with my bc, but I am confused as to what they are for. Do you have any idea why my Crohn's would suggest these tests, which to my knowledge, I have not had before.
Many thanks for any advice or insight.

I can only guess, since I can't see the writing.

A possibility would include LFTs (liver function tests).  A cortisol test is possible since disease like Cushings can lead to muscle pain.

I'm not sure what "Cardom" would refer to.

Calling your physician, or asking the lab to interpret the order can be done.

Followup with your personal physician is essential.
